Refunds & Cancellations

What to expect if plans change, and how we handle damage or weather issues.

Draft policy. This page is a starting draft and has not been reviewed by a lawyer. Every point still to be settled is marked below. Confirm all of them before launch.

1. The short version

Every gift basket and balloon installation we make is built by hand, to order, for your specific event date. Fresh and perishable items and made-to-order balloon work can’t be resold once they’re made, so our cancellation windows are shorter than what you’d see with off-the-shelf retail. We’ll always work with you if something changes.

2. Gift basket cancellations

Gift baskets contain perishable and gift items that are purchased and assembled specifically for your order.

To confirm. The exact cancellation window for gift baskets, for example a full refund if canceled 48 hours before the scheduled delivery or pickup date, and no refund after shopping or assembly has begun.

3. Balloon installation cancellations

Balloon arches and balloon art require materials to be ordered and, in many cases, inflated and built the same day as your event, so a cancellation window needs to be wider than for a gift basket.

To confirm. The exact cancellation window and any deposit policy for balloon installations, for example a full refund if canceled 7 days before the event to match our balloon-arch lead time, a partial refund inside that window once materials have been purchased, and no refund once installation has begun.

4. Weather and venue issues for outdoor installs

Balloon installations are sensitive to wind, rain, heat, and direct sun, and an outdoor arch or display may not hold up in poor conditions. If severe weather is forecast for your event, we’ll reach out as early as possible to talk through options, which may include moving the installation indoors or under cover, rescheduling, or adjusting the design. If a venue turns out to be unsuitable for installation on arrival (for example, no safe anchor point, or access we weren’t told about), we’ll do our best to adapt on site, but additional fees or a shortened design may apply.

To confirm. Whether a weather-related cancellation or postponement made outside the standard cancellation window is refunded, credited toward a future date, or charged a smaller weather-contingency fee.

5. Damaged on arrival

If a gift basket arrives damaged, or a balloon installation is damaged before you’ve had a chance to see it complete, contact us within 24 hours of delivery or install with a photo of the issue. We’ll replace the item, repair the installation, or issue a partial or full refund depending on the situation. We can’t take responsibility for damage that happens after a basket has been accepted or an installation has been handed over and left unattended, including damage from wind, pets, or guests.

How to request a refund or cancellation

Send us your name, your order details, and the reason for your request. We’ll confirm what applies to your order and get back to you, usually within a few hours.
